THUMB
IN PALMISTRY:
Thumb holds the most
crucial significance role in palmistry. It is also called king of hand, reveals
the character, mental and physical nature of the person. The position, shape,
flexibility, thickness, thinness highlight the personality of holder.
The size and flexibility
of thumb is very important. Long thumb means the person is very strong, leader,
ambitious, independent and takes quick decisions. On the other hand short thumb
reflects low confidence, rigid, depending on others and a good follower.
Next the position of the
thumb also very significant. High set thumb signify ambitious and full of ego. Whereas
low set thumb reflects the person is down to earth and respect others.
The
angle at which the thumb is held in relation to the rest of the hand reflects
additional insights. A thumb that naturally extends away from the palm
indicates a person is open-minded, adventurous, and risk taker. Such
individuals are often receptive to new ideas and experiences. On the other hand,
a thumb that leans closer to the palm suggests a more cautious and pragmatic
nature. These individuals tend to prioritize stability and prefer to thoroughly
analyze situations before making decisions.

straight thumb indicates a strong-willed, firm minded and straightforward
individual, while a flexible thumb symbolizes adaptability, emotional and
open-mindedness.
A
thick thumb represents strength and determination, where as a thin thumb
represents sensitivity and a more delicate nature.

personality like willpower, flexibility, nature etc.
