TREES AND PLANTS IN VASTU / FENG SHUI.

Whenever one enters the house thru main gate usually one found a small garden in front of house and the same is in the back side of the house. People like to have such type of garden in their houses but Vastu and Feng Shui laid some guidelines for these gardens, trees and plants.

In Vastu and Feng Shui every item plays a vital role. As such trees and plants have great impact, because they are very close to our life and in our surroundings. These plants and trees have direct relation with human body; they emit energies which affects our life. Some of them emit negative energies which are harmful. One must choose these plants with much care. 

Plants should be planted in auspicious constellation. It is always be good if the plants are planted during Shukal Paksh or close to full moon. The trees should be in even number and not in odd number 

A list of good and auspicious trees: coconut, neem, beetle, sandalwood, pomegranate, lemon, pineapple, bilva, almond, mango, amla etc.

Pipal and banyan trees are sacred and they should be usually planted near temples and or near sacred places.

In Vastu and Feng Shui different plants and trees have specific directions, if planted in those directions the owner will get good results otherwise the same trees and plants give negative energies. One must apply Vastu for these. Next there are some plants considered to be auspicious for homes and must be planted accordingly.

Avoid planting trees exactly in front of gate or in the center of the house.
Huge trees must be planted in the south or west.
Never grow big trees in north and east.
Small plants should be grown in east and north.
Thorny plants are prohibited in house but a rose can be grown in house.
Plants which produce milk should be avoided in the four walls of house.
Citrus group plants like lemon can be grown in house.
Sweet smelling flower plants and plants with medicinal properties are allowed. 

Trees on which honeybees, worms, insects, owls or serpents grow/rest should never be planted around the house.

Pointed or sharp corners leaves generate Yang Energy and it moves very quickly. These should be placed where the energy is stagnant.

Always avoid dry plants, instead silk plant are comparatively good.

The bottom line is where there is imbalance of energy in the house or office just place plants and they will balance the energy. 

So use these plants judiciously and you will enjoy the happy and prosperous life.
