Five Elements:              

Water, Wood, Fire, Earth and Metal are five elements in Feng Shui. These five elements play a pivotal role in human life. These five elements have three type of cycle, one is productive, second is destructive and the third is exhaustive.

When ever and where ever one wants to enhance the positive energy then the productive cycle of element is used, where the energy to be reduced then either exhaustive or destructive cycle of element is used. To enhance the love and marriage corner which is South-West corner of compass, earth & fire elements should be used maximum, fire element enhances the earth energy which is good for this corner.

Color & Directions:

Colors are very important in one’s life. These have their particular directions and they have

different effects and reactions in life. Being the South-West corner of marriage and love, Yellow, Beige, Red, Orange and Pink colors are the best. These colors always generate positive energy. These colors should be used very cautiously. One must know his or her Kua number and accordingly adopted.

On the basis of Kua number we can find the four positive and four negative directions. To enhance one’s luck always go for positive directions and try to avoid negative directions if possible.

For marriage if you know the Kua number I can say that 50% of your problems are solved immediately. I would advice that one must know the Kua number for success.

Trigram:

Feng shui call it Trigram or eight trigrams. This depicts the eight corners or house or plot.These eight corners have their specific directions, colors, elements etc. While standing in the door far right corner is for love and marriage. Keep this corner clutter free and well lit so that positive energy is generated always.

You can place this trigram on the map of your plot or house and then come to know the particular corner. You will also come to know if any corner is missing or cut. You can enhance the Ki of that corner for your benefits.

Love & Marriage Corner:

                                 

In compass direction, South-West corner is the corner of love and marriage and in trigram while standing in the door far right corner is of love and marriage. Always be careful for this corner. The more the positive energy is generated; more the affection will be there. For smooth and happy life this corner should be taken care of. it should be clutter free, well lit and good decoration should be done.

As this corner is of Earth element, try to decorate it with earthen pots & with crystals. . the color of earth is brown or beige. As you know fire produces earth so fire colors like red, orange is good for this corner. Red decoration pieces can also be placed here.

Enhance Love & Marriage life:

Use the Feng Shui not only to have sound and soothing sleep but also your love and marriage. If the bedroom is at proper place and having things placed according to feng shui, the ki will be produced and love and romance will flourish automatically. You should be particularly about your bed room. There are some guidelines for it, make use of these and enjoy love and married life.

 The Bed Room:

Ø  Try to get your master bed room in the South-West

Ø  Try to have bed room at the back of the house.

Ø  Always keep the bed room clutter free.

Ø  There should be light, soothing color on the walls. Preferably very light pink, beige, off white etc.

Ø  Bed room should be away from toilets otherwise keep the toilet doors close all the time.

Ø  Bed room should not be under bathroom or toilet.

Ø  There should not be any beam in the bed room.

Ø  This is the earth corner (Compass) decorate it with earthen things.

Ø  Try to lit this corner maximum.

 The Beds:

Ø  Do not place the bed under window, under beam, direct in row of doors.

Ø  Remove all the items from under the bed, they create difference of opinions.

Ø  Bed should not be attached to the walls. At least 8-12 inches away from walls.

Ø  Mattress should be at least 18 inches above the floor.

Ø  Make sure that you have direct view of door from bed.

Ø  Beds should have solid head board.

Ø  Try to use single mattress. It improves the marriage relationship.

Ø  If divorced, replace the beds and mattress immediately.

Ø  Placing of bed in this corner of house should be in South-West corner.

Ø  Always keep your head towards the best direction of your kua number.

Ø  There should be no pointed furniture in the room.

Ø  Feng Shui expert recommends use of Queen size bed and not King size bed.

 Accessories in Bed Room:

Ø  Lights should be low, soothing and not glazed.

Ø  Crystals can also be decorated here. Pink crystals are the best.

Ø  TV should not be in the bed room.

Ø  Mirror should not reflect the beds.

Ø  Water element should not be in the room.

Ø  There should not be any picture or statue of your God or Goddess.

Ø  Hang the pictures of happy days.

Ø  Keep decoration peaces in pair e.g. mandarin ducks, flowers, candles etc.

Ø  Mandarin ducks are famous symbol of love and romance. It generates positive ki that helps the lover to tie in knot.

Ø  Take away any sad, scary or dark artwork from bedroom. We want soothing and affectionate atmosphere in bedroom

Ø  Hang pink crystal heart shape in window which spread the colorful rays in room and generate positive ki.

 Bed room colors:

                    

 Bed room color selection is not very easy. There are 3 to 6 color elements which have to be decided. This is because you are on your throne (Bed) where you spend one third of your life. Here you have bed color and also the color of walls which everybody wants to match it. There are four walls and ceiling, means have to match approximately 60% of the area available in the bed room. Selecting the wall color mainly depends upon your KUA Number. It should softly and gently oppose your personality. If you tend to be a calm personality it would be mild fiery shade like Pink, Peach hue tone. You can also decorate with calm hue colors in decoration and flooring.

Besides this 60 % area you have 40% area with you and you can use the color or paint as you like. There is ceiling, flooring, decorating, wooden part comprises about 40% in the bedroom. Take full advantage of it using various shades of your choice, so that your personality and taste is reflected from it.

Bed room Ceiling:

Bed room ceiling should be at normal height i.e.  around 10 feet. In low ceiling you will always feel pressure, stress and emotional instability sense of closeness and affection does not emerge. Under low ceiling you will be compressed and have limited thoughts and ideas in life.  Even toddlers prefer to have high or normal ceiling. Under high ceiling they have a fantasy of thoughts and enjoy it

Make sure that ceilings should be plain or some simple & soothing designs & not abstract design.  Carefully & thoroughly check if anything directly or indirectly pointing to your head. Beams must be taken care of, avoid the point of slanting ceiling towards your head. If not taken care of these steps then health problem will be in the family

The color of ceiling should be of soft tone like white, cream, beige etc.  Light or white shades give the power of vastness, reflects light and energies your thoughts & feelings. Never use dark colors or stormy colors. They make you depressed or cloud or dismal your thoughts. They even have negative effects on your mood at the time of bed. This is the first color you see every morning, so choose it carefully which please your taste and enhance your energy

Bed room Lightings:

Bedroom lightings always attract the relationship. Morning rays of sun are always welcomed. This pours a new life. Bedroom should have maximum natural lighting. If doors and windows are in East, North-East or North, these are the best direction. Warm lighting like red generate passion, emotion and affection. Lights should be soft and soothing in bedroom. Sharp and bright lights in the bedroom will make uneasy. If possible use the dimmers as they control the lights in the room. Lights should be such that it spreads equally in the room, and no corner should remain dark. If possible the switches should be on South-East wall. There should be table lamps in or along or on both sides of the bed. These generate good positive energy and make the atmosphere cozy. Lights should not be above the beds like chandeliers. Sleeping under these will give you some pressure on your body and mind. 

Feng shui Beds:

Bed is not simply a bed where you just sleep, in fact it is your throne where you spends one third of life. Sometimes we hear from others that they could not get proper sleep, they are tired even after 5-7 hours sleep, physically and mentally upset. Most of the energy has been drained away. So your bed should be very comfortable. Its placing should be proper. Its headboard should be nice and solid, should be with solid wall. Other three sides should be open. You should be particular for the color of spreadsheets and pillows. You must keep the bed in commanding position in the room. It should never be under beam.  It must go with your KUA number. If your birth element is of Fire, with kua no. 9, you should not have head board of bed in triangle shape. As triangle shape is of fire and you are also with fire element it will generate fire and give you tension
