KITCHEN:
Kitchen plays very important role in Vastushastra / Feng Shui. It can make or mar the life of the residents. If it is placed in proper direction the residents will enjoy the life and get the progress, otherwise the picture will be different and gloomy.
Kitchen
has set direction in Vastu / Feng Shui. Venus is the lord of kitchen which is
in south east. The best direction of kitchen is in the South East direction and
face should be in the east direction. This is the fire (agni) direction. As fire
plays the major role in kitchen so this direction suits very well. But Vastu
and Feng Shui are very flexible shastras and they give the second best
direction for kitchen is North West. Here the face should be on west. As this
corner is dominated by air, so fire will not disturb this zone.
SE
is the best direction and facing should be in East. The food will be tasty and
nutritious.
South:
Facing South, south energies (Yama) will dominate the lady and she will be
having negative nature. As health wise high blood pressure, diabetes, knee to
back problem, joint pain etc. Husband and wife will have hot temperature and
this causes clashes in family even at the minor reasons.
SW: West
facing, Shani will dominate and it will result that earning will not be easy or
can be said that hard earned money. What so ever the couple earns it will not
be and easy earning. Since lord Shani dominates illegal money if enters, may
take away earned money along with it. Stability of family will be at stake.
Accidents may take place.
West:
West facing, it will affect the creativity of children. The children will not
concentrate on their studies. There will be struggle and clashes in family.
Earning will be very hard. Unnecessary tension in husband and wife. If the main gate is also in west direction
then both will not stay together. One of them will stay outside.
NW:
Kitchen in this corner results that expenditure will be more than earning. This
is an air dominating corner. As air blows and stops, same way the earning and
expenditure will take place. How much one may earn, expenditures will exceeds
its earnings. There will be unexpected, unwanted and more guests.
North:
North facing, we can say that fire burns money, as this is the corner of Lord
Kuber. This will bring tension. This is all due to unnecessary expenses and finance.
All the family members may earn, but their hard earned savings will evaporate
suddenly and they will realize it latter when everything has gone out of their
hands.
NE:
This is the corner of Ishwer (Shiva) or we call it Ishan corner. The fire burns
the positive energy which enters the house from this corner. Kitchen in this
direction will bring tension to every member of family and over burden. Overall
failures and negative impact on family members. The eldest male child will be
under unnecessary tension and this will hinder his growth.
East:
East facing, kitchen in this corner burns the UV rays of sun. This will create
tension in life. Everything will be in abundance but the first lady of the
house will not be satisfied. She will always complain something missing in
life. Another major problem is that it will delay the marriage of girls. Girls
will not be happy in their in laws house.
But in restaurants kitchen is preferred in
south direction. Reason is that in restaurants people like spicy food, and this
direction suits for spicy food as Rahu rules this corner.
